→ Obama urges community bankers to step up lending (2009-12-23)
The President Obama was on air and he was talking to small bank CEO's, trying to spur investments, with the help of TARP funds, on conditions such as restrictions on the outrageous pays for the senior officials, more capital stocks of the banks, paying dividends etc, for robust finances.
His appearance somewhat reassured me of whatever is going on in the world, so to speak. It always does. My best wishes -- that his ideals be known to the whole world.
