パキスタンでは４日、マリク内相はウラマーらに、テロに対する非難をファトワ（宗教令）として発行するよう要請したという。
５日にはラワルピンディでのテロに関し、６人が逮捕されたという。
アフガニスタンとの国境では、４４人の武力勢力を拘束し、武器を押収したという。
米国は、パキスタンでのタリバン掃討に、いっそうの協力を発表しているという。

Things are happening in Pakistan and there seem to be frictions as well. First, the interior minister Rehman Malik called for an all ulema meeting to denounce suicide attacks. Second, suspects of the terror attacks were arrested in Rawalpindi. Third, the security forces confiscated ammunitions in South Waziristan. And lastly, the US announced that it will help Pakistani forces in chasing Taliban militants.
